I've been trying to re-think glazing in preparation for doing the teapots. I want to combine the fine and specific marks and imagery done with under-glaze with the broader and more atmospheric and earthy nuisances of actual glaze surfaces. And move the motifs in such a way as to break the expected 'picture plane.' Again, here, too, I am doing something that has more moving parts to the imagery - and a lot more stuff to learn. But - I am pretty happy with these test results! Onward., too, I am doing something that has more moving parts to the imagery - and a lot more stuff to learn.
