At this point I was back to using the gas kiln -- I had not used it much for the last ten years for a lot of reasons. Restarting it proved to be  an issue ....  I could not use the bright colors in the paintings since it would burn out so I mostly used chrome green and cobalt oxide stains. It worked nicely and they were popular. I also was working with copper red and rutile glazes.
